On August 24, 2022, the office of Sonoma County Registrar of Voters notified the Board of Directors of the Forestville Water District that there was an insufficient number of candidates to fill the vacant seats on the Board of Directors. After the election on November 8, 2022, there will be one vacant seat on the Board of Directors Pursuant to Election Code § 10515, where such vacancies remain, the Board of Supervisors will fill the vacancy by appointment. The Board of Supervisors will make the appointment prior to November 22, 2022. 

Persons interested in seeking appointment to the Board of Directors of the Forestville Water District may notify the District as set forth herein. To be eligible for appointment, the candidate must be a registered voter, current customer of Forestville Water District, reside within District boundaries and submit a letter of interest. 

The letter of interest should state the applicant’s residence address and email address, their qualifications to serve on the Board, and include their reasons for applying to fill the Board vacancy.  

Letters of interest must be received by 5:00 p.m. on November 4, 2022, and may be submitted either by:
